Branda Lorelita Montgomery, 82, of Centralia, Wash., passed away at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia, Wash., Thursday, September 30, 2021.
Branda was born March 24, 1939, in Bralorne, British Columbia, to Jakob and Lily (Lien) Schillinger. The family came to Toledo, Wash., in 1948, when Branda was nine years old. Branda loved travel and adventure, and lived all over the Northwest before coming back home to Lewis County two years ago.
She was a loving, strong, and talented woman who truly made her family’s house a ‘home.’ She had a beautiful singing voice, and with the right connections, would have been in the movies. She loved her family and friends, and she loved cats. She enjoyed watching NCIS, family Bible Study, and enjoyed her time as a ‘slot- jockey’ at the Casino whenever she had the chance.
Branda is remembered by her sons, Daren, Alex, and Jacob; daughter, Rachel; kitties, Sheba, Elvis, and Bojangles; siblings, Gordon, Linda, and Sally; grandchildren, Anslee and Axton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends that will never forget her.
